Privacy first

Your business is your business

Coven was built privacy-first on purpose. Here's exactly what we do with your information, in plain English — no legal jargon.

Your anonymous handle

When you join, we make you a random name like MidnightFox72. That's the only name anyone else ever sees next to your reviews. Your real name is never shown, and we don't ask for it.

What's public

Only three things: your handle, your reviews and star ratings, and — if you choose to list one — your business profile. That's it.

What's private

Your email, your sign-in details, your wishlist, your saved sizes, your period tracker, reminders and diary. None of it is visible to other people, ever.

Your measurements

Height, weight, bust, waist, hips, shoe size and everything else live in a separate, locked table that only your own account can open. They're used to fill in your searches and nothing else. They are never attached to a review.

Your wishlist

Nobody can see what you've saved. We recheck the prices for you and tell you when something drops or comes back in stock — quietly, just to you.

Review anonymity

Reviews are published under your handle, never your account. We also strip and block anything that could identify you or someone else — addresses, phone numbers, emails and real names.

Signing in with Google

Google tells us your email address so we know it's you next time. We use it for account safety and nothing else — no marketing lists, no selling it on, and it's never displayed anywhere on Coven.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself from Settings at any time — profile, sizes, wishlist, private tools and reviews go with it. No dark patterns, no 30-day guilt trip.

Who owns your data

You do. We don't sell it and we don't share it with advertisers. The numbers we review internally are anonymous totals — like how many women searched for boots this week.

Being straight with you

Coven runs on hosted cloud servers, not on your phone alone. Your private entries aren't end-to-end encrypted: they travel over an encrypted connection and are locked to your account by database rules, but the operator could technically access them if required for safety, support or the law. We don't read them otherwise.

AI features

Search, the stylist, Outfit Studio and safety screening send what you type or upload to third-party AI providers to get a result. Don't put anything in there you wouldn't want processed by a provider.
